It's both relaxing and nerve-racking at the same time. I feel this intense, completely mixed-up range of emotions. I think it's more the fact that I did this with no plan. And I'm not really one who thinks the fates will be kind to me, yet I'm putting my faith in them nonetheless.
I'm remaining an open vessel, keeping myself available to whatever awaits me. Like if I had a phone call like you did, talking to some random person about just quitting "the life" and moving elsewhere. Who knows... that could be me. We'll see how this goes.
Don't worry about falling asleep during it. You still get benefit. I think somehow you subconscious still follows. I have fallen asleep a majority of times and wake up feeling amazing. I've done it during the day and just feel amazing. Either way is good. Let me know how it goes.
yeah yeah. a lot of my non-raw friends who are either just vegetarian or vegan seem to enjoy it a lot, but it's way too salty for me...I asked him (juliano) about the saltiness, and I guess he intentionally makes it overly salty to appease people who aren't strictly raw.
It's a real masters program, so there's quite a bit of work. Luckily, I've already read most of Gabriel's and David Wolfe's books, so that lightens up my load quite a bit. There's a strong spiritual focus, concentrating on Essene philosophy, and some of the reading is tough. I really like it so far, and the study group conference calls and the monthly event Alive with Gabriel calls are good ways to keep in touch.
I also love keeping in touch with the other students. All the students are wonderful, and everyone is so knowledgable in their own way. Tree of Life is understaffed at this time, so sometimes things don't always happen on time, but this is a minor complaint.
I need to get started researching for my thesis proposal. You spend most of the second year working on it. My topic is the properties of raw cacao!
Lee, This link is really in depth. If you also find any good info, send it along. I have his cd, it's really good. I read in the book 'The Five Tibetans' that with yoga Nigra you can achieve some wild stuff, even though that's not what we're after. Even encounters with spirit beings.

Thanks very much for reading it. It means a lot.
