Here I am for the umpteenth time getting back seriously on the raw wagon. There have been major changes in my life. Job, separation, getting ready to go back to school after 20 years or more. This is where the reinventing myself comes in. Going to a vocational school for a new career.
It has been one big upheaval, but it all feels right. The separation with my other half felt right too. We left as friends, but he was very negative for me. I am getting too old to deal with that any more.…

I lived in Plano for 14 years mostly in the 90's. I hope that the weather is cooling down for you there. I thought the fall was the best time of year there.
So, I see that you are doing raw at times. That is a great start!! You are becoming aware of what raw foods can do for you, that is the first step. Becoming aware.
My recommendation, read as much as you can on the subject. Have you read Fit for Life books by Harvey Diamond? It would be a good book to give you some of the background in Natural Hygiene.
Also, another recommendation, don't stress too much about it. Listen to how your body feels after you eat certain foods. If you feel lighter and more energetic after eating that particular food, eat more of it.
Take care and be well. If you would like to chat just PM me!!

I will be moving to the Dallas area really soon, I think we could be great support for each other, I to have been bouncing back and forth. Are there any good vegan/raw restuarants or health food stores that I should know about in Texas? I'll be in Plano.
I would love to be of support to you trying to be raw.
I have 11 children all living at home so I do lots and lots of cooking... But by the grace of God I stay 99% raw!!
I am also a soapmaker. Would love to talk about that..
