About Me:
I absolutely love raw food. I did 100% for two and then four months. I would do it now if I had the time, money, and access, but since I don't, it's more like 90% at the moment. Since a lot of my stuff is dried, I don't know exactly how raw it is though :)

My current pantry consists of apples, dates, raisins, dried guava, honey, carob, cacao, dried coconut, almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds, pistachios, olive oil, buckwheat, wheat, kim-chi, greens, and tomatoes, LOTS of them (been doing some drying).

I'm currently doing a large biointensive, permaculture, organic greenhouse system for both a bed and breakfast and eco-retreat in the middle of nowhere Utah (but it's perty!)

After this project, I'm considering living in Sedona. Not sure what I'll do there, but I am also kicking around the idea of leading out in some wilderness therapy courses. I can't tell you what they would involve presently other then it would be an amazing experience.

After that, I'd like to start a research / education facility somewhere in the Southwest.

Raw Spirit

Hey guys, just a heads up here. I'll be headed down to Raw Spirit in a couple days here with my Dad and adopted sister. Will be looking forward to having a blast! A couple notes: 1. Since my mom can't make it, we've got an extra ticket. It's a 3 day and we're shooting for $300, but we might be able to be convinced to sell it for less :) 2. My adopted sister is looking for someone with a little extra booth space in which she might be able to sell some really HOT body lotion. They'd be just the… Continue

Yo Yo Peeps

I'm done in Walla Walla this October. I'm considering working at an edible landscape nursery / permaculture project in Northern Cal for a year, but I wanted to put it out there to see if anybody else has a project (or knows of one) needing assistance. (cuz I'd rather work with raw peeps, though these people are mostly vegetarian). Mainly I guess I'm looking to help people develop property (gardening / permaculture), but I'm open to more (I have construction skill and experience, along with comp… Continue

The Pranic Blast

OK, I have been waiting to share this for a while. Not because I'm not excited about it, but I just am not sure if this is something that people on here are really going to grasp. I'm taking my chances. For quite some time now, I have been experimenting with what you could call "living on prana". While I can't say that I no longer eat food, I can say that I have noticed a decrease in appetite. But most importantly, a feeling of bliss that blasts away even what I get off of juiced chard stalks.… Continue

Thoughts on Money

Today I was watching a documentary which mentioned the use of RFID chips in money. Not that I really have anything to hide as far as what I buy where, but somehow, I don't like the idea of someone that I don't know having that information. Then I got to thinking, you know, if we didn't use money, what would we use? Obviously, it would have to be some sort of barter type system. Traditionally, we've viewed this as being antiquated and barbaric. But I got to thinking about it. In our closest relat… Continue

Yeah guys, been away. After Raw Spirit I was at my brothers in Pheonix for a week then took a 12 day vacation at my favorite little wild paradise and lived on (all wild) apples, figs, prickly pear fruit, grapes, manzanita berries, pine nuts, watercress, some tree berries/fruit not sure what they are called, dandelions and grass. Supplemented with some dates, dried apricots, raisins, and a couple pounds of buckwheat. Oh, and yes, FRESH spring water.

I'm back at the eco-retreat in Utah, supervising / working on the planning, development, construction and possibly eventual maintenance of a couple greenhouses for year-round growing. One is a plastic with role-up sides from the bed and breakfast, the other will be a strawbale on three sides, and double polycarb on the south with a removable top for summer (yeah, innovation baby). So anyways, this is a nice paying full time job, so you probably won't see me on here a lot ;)

Once I complete this job, I'm considering starting a wilderness therapy program, so stay tuned. Would probably teach some radical stuff and run about $1000 a person . . .

Peace

Ryan Ryan, who stopped buyin, how does your garden grow? With Zuchini, Sunflower and Chrysanthemum, and Ground cherries all in a row...

Ok, so its corny. I've been on a gardening thread lately, and wondered where you've been. Are you doing a lot of harvesting lately? Doing any over winter gardening? Hope you're doing well! have a great day!
