Have just come back from exploring California's wonderful raw vegan world. The inspiring things getting done over there have solidified my vision to open a smoothie booth, health retreat and culinary school in Australia... Now it's time to knuckle down and write the business plan and serenade a financier ;-)

I'm glad Cali treated you well! I am grateful to live in Los Angeles where there are so many raw/vegan food choices easily available. How is it in Australia?
Sorry to miss meeting you at the meetup. I had to leave just after 8 to go see a friends band play which I ended up mssing anyway. Was nice to meet some like minded individuals.
Shux! Lucy,, my children are getting hooked on smoothies! I need some new ideas. Do you have any combination suggestions? I'm very new to raw and must ensure that my children only have USEFUL .....lol experiences, otherwise they may not bring "something mum created" to their mouth again!...lol so far so good, trialed banana and strawberry, banana and kiwi, & then spirilina, now mango and pinapple, I think I needed a carrier juice for that one, and apple and banana. so not varied yet! any idea where I can go for some further ideas? By the way anything relating to business I am always open ears and eyes and time, so just ask. Kj
Ha, no way is Tasmania Vic's little bro! Victoria is actually a little yuppie trying to be tasmania. But cheers for the link! I'd absolutely love to be able to meet. It'd be great to make some raw friends. I too have a beer-swilling friendship pool.
Many smiles,
Thomas
Yes! A fellow local... sort of. Thanks for the ad, I was taking a look at some of your food photos above. That date cake looks insane. I was wondering, when did you go raw, and how was the transition for you, in terms of things socially, lifestyle, etc.?
