less fear...more quest!
It's too easy to be cautioned into not taking action on the raw path. Too many tales of mistakes and troubles and musts. Be fully prepared to "fail yourself forward" and make some mistakes. Better to make adjustments to your course along the way... than to never start your journey.
Don't buy into the crap that there is a specific raw diet which is best for everyone (ie: 80/10/10, Natural Hygiene, 100% raw vegan, Essene, etc.) So many of us are coming from SAD (Standard American Diet) and there are amazing gains to be had just by eliminating the junk and STARTING to bring in the raw foods and juices. Cut yourself some slack and trust the food to help push you along and gain some energy back. Be patient with yourself...it took years to create your current level of health, so....doesn't it seem sensible that it may take a few years to turn things completely around? It may. Trust the process, take the baby steps, and keep moving forward! (I'm not preaching, I want to be encouraging and.... I'm smiling...... and I hope you are too!)

Wish you could come....;)
Hope your day was filled with the bestest of things, always.......xx
My knee surgery was to remove excess vein masses (I have a rare congenital vascular disease called Klippel- Trenaunay Syndrome). I have almost double the amount of veins in my left leg and they're like deep varicosities- it has been really painful during growth spurts in the past, but is usually just annoying.
When they did the surgery, they lifted up the kneecap and now it's very unstable and can move from side to side, so that's why inclines bother it.
I don't think there's too much I can do- I'm already doing stellar with the whole thing- compared to what a lot of folks with it have to deal with.
Happy Thanksgiving, by the way:)
Computers, sound and music....oh and gardening....Sounds awesome to me.
I'm about to start on a little plot, preparing to grow things for next year, I'm so excited. I've been collecting books an permaculture gardening and seed swapping for years and finally I'll get to turn them to good use.
Might ask you some silly questions along the way as well ;D
I haven't been working for a while, just bits and bobs here and there, but I've got new things coming up.
Like, I've just taken on a job for an old friend who puts up events in Brighton.
I'll be dealing with managing stalls but I've also got a couple of ideas for events I want to do here.
Will tell you more when it becomes a bit more real :)
Other than that just doing day to day with my lil angels in disguise hehe
Hope you're having a wonderful day
Much LOvE and take care xx
I figure I could handle luging, though. It's like sledding for grown-ups:) I used to live near a track up in MI, but I never tried it.
For exercise (which isn't often enough!) I do some isometric stuff, and I rebound. I do walk quite a lot, just because I like to and it clears my head.
I can't run- I have a bum knee (from surgery). I like hiking, but my knee suffers way too much going down steep inclines, so I have to stick to fairy calm terrain.
I think snow shoeing seems fun, but we don't get enough snow in TN for that.
People here freak out when we get an inch. They flood the grocery stores before the "blizzard" to stock up on food. The schools close if they see a snowflake. It's hilarious to all of us yankee transplants! Where I lived as a kid, it took several feet of snow to close the schools, and even then...
Did you grow up in upstate NY?
You do pay attention to detail and your are very accurate when you express yourself, that's a great skill. Oh yes we better watch out on here, nothing will escape the ever so alert telefunken antenna....;D
Hope you're having a good day, what do you do again for a living? I'm not sure if you told me or not??
Much LOvE from me to yooooouu xx
