Hey! My name is Breanna and I have recently got into the whole raw food thing. I first became interested because I had some stomach issues and then I learned more about the science of it and I find it really amazing. I am still pretty new at it though so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Other then eating raw foods I enjoy running competitively, debating/mock trial, the sciences, learning, meeting new people, adventures, and much much more!

Interests (outside of Raw Food):
I already kinda mentioned this but I run competitively. I like learning and discusing contreversial or interesting topics. Meeting new people is definently one of my favorite things to do. I am pretty out doorsy but I also do my fair share of shopping.

Hi B,
Not sure exactly, But Scott Jurek put on an exceptional running camp....great people came....I was cooked vegan than, so it was good vegan food for me too....I feel sooo much stronger as a runner Raw 8/1/1.
Hey it's been a while, I think I was one of the firsts to leave you a comment. Anywho, I never asnwered your question! (Awful me)
I just wanted to let you know that Raw Food, if you haven't discovered so yourself yet, can be tricky at school, but if you really want to, you can absolutely accomplish it.
I live about a 20-min train ride away from Boston, so on the weekends I like to take my time and go to Whole Foods, just pick up new stuff and have a descent meal for the week. During the week however, I make do with the salad bar, it's really not my favorite, but I always keep celery and some kind of nut butter around.
I really want to know how you're doing, so keep me posted!
peace,
priscila
Fresh Coconut Water is the best. Make sure you get a Young Thai Coconut. In some areas they are hard to find so hopefully you have a good supply near you. Farmers markets or Whole Food stores are good places to find them. They are white on the outside; this is the husk. If you go to you tube and search for opening a Young Thai coconut there are some great little videos to show you how simple it is. I made all kinds of messes before I figured out the art of opening one. Now I have one for breakfast almost every morning and sometimes after I run. You can drink the water with a straw and then spoon out the soft meat and enjoy a light meal. Have FUN!
