I've been vegan since December of 07 (with a few slip up's in Thailand, apparently they haven't heard of soy ice cream yet) and am currently transitioning to be raw vegan. As a young healthy female in the medical field, I embrace raw veganism and truly believe in the value and worth of becoming raw. An avid health-nut and fitness enthusiast, I am new to this raw way of life and invite any advice and word of any gatherings in and around NYC.

Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?: Durian (I love you Thailand!), Coconut water (I usually cannot help myself from chugging all of the water at once- it is so delicious), juicing

Interests (outside of Raw Food):: Kickboxing, yoga, cycling and spinning, hiking, reading, movies, travel, psychiatry and internal medicine with a holistic approach, what drives people to be who they are, feeding family and friends

92-day juice feast

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to do this for a while, and have committed to tomorrow being day 1, but finally tomorrow is today (I just realized it is after midnight) and I'm a little freaked out!!! 92 days of not eating????!!!!?!?!?!?!! CRAZY!!! My 'last supper' was tonight at Quintessence. I had a coconut water, Chipotle Cheese Roll, Big Moc, and banana split sundae. My Spinach Heaven

Rachel's Spinach Heaven Wow this is soooooooo yummy! Everything raw organic (or as close to organic as possible) This happened completely by accident! Deodorant

I threw away my deodorant today. The kind with aluminum (EWWW!!). I feel so liberated. Okay, yes, I sweat. So duh, of course I am going to wear something- LOL!!!! I have Nature's Gate Organics Deodorant in Chamomile and Lemon Verbena. It is lovely. Go throw away your garbage metal stick!!!

I wrote about my 3 experiences in another forum. I can send you the link if you want to read about them. They aren't that exciting, I still haven't had any spiritual breakthroughs but like I said before, that wasn't my intent. But it will be for my next time! though I hear your shown what you need and not what you want.

I doubt the phone call would be free. ya never know though!! 416-752-3456. I know it sounds fake lol. it's not though.

p.s what's a big moc? I imagine it's a raw version of a big mac! what's it made of? and is it as good as it sounds?!

So far eating this way just for a couple of months has improved so many things. my stomach healing is the big one, but just feeling happier, more energy, skin is clearing up, my nails were all cracked before and now they have remineralized, I remember my dreams every night, and I have more lucid dreams! My senses are sharpening. so many things! and that's just a couple of months with some cheating. mmmm cheating lol

as for ayahuasca, yes I've tried it 3 times now! I haven't had a spiritual experience yet but my intent has been for the healing each time. I had ulcerative colitis and through ayahuasca I found the raw food diet and this has cured me!! she works in mysterious ways I tells ya. I can't wait to drink aya again sometime soon with different intentions ; )
