Hard Work

It's the weekend, so I should e resting, right? Apparently not.

This morning I went to the gym and had my first crack at the new fitness programme set by my trainer. I have to admit that the running on the treadmill almost killed me! Mind you, he had set the thing to go at faster speeds than I had run before, so I'm not overly surprised. No doubt that with regular practise it will become more achievable.

The weights side of thing went far better. I'm embarrassed at how little w… Continue

Getting fit for life!

I've never blogged before because I've never found much I wanted to blog about and share with the world. However, it's about time I jumped on the bandwagon...

I've never been the most physical of people - I played active games when I was a kid but I was never heavily into sports. I'm one of those people who has never been really unfit, but never been really fit either.

In recent years I've made several attempts at doing regular gym exercise but I've fallen by the wayside on too… Continue

Hello!!!

It's so cool that you have found success with your diet. Let me know if you find out any good info on foraging in London. I'll keep my eye out for you too. We should organise a foraging walk or something in London at some point... would be cool.

Best

Hi Andrew, I'm at the VERY beginning! How long have you been involved? Is there much of a raw food scene/community in London?

Hi Andrew, you're are absolutely right, dairies are hard to give up in this cheese country, at some point in my life I almost lived only on bread and cheese but their terrible effects on my health and overall well being are so strong and I love fruit so much that actually I don't miss them so far.
Also I find it much easier to give up wheat and dairies or fish and meat on a raw diet thant on a cooked vegan one.
Now that I decided to be raw, I have totally different standard of what food is, and that helps a lot don't you think ?
