Hmmm I always feel weird about these "about me" sections.
So, I'm new to raw foodism, have been vegan for about two years. Not many people know about veganism or know any vegans around here. I like being the only one they know, it makes things interesting. Well, I love eating raw! I'm transitioning right now and have been experimenting with new meals, but I'm terrible (and lazy)! I don't really use superfoods or prepare gourmet food, I just eat tons of fruit and salads. I like to keep it simple :) And I love being called a hippy!

What type of friends are you looking to make here?
raw vegans, college students, everyone!
Relationship Status:
Single
Favorite Raw Food or Dish:
I love bananas, salads, anything vegan
Interests (outside of Raw Food):
I'm a college student at PSU studying nutrition and science. I also love travelling, doing volunteer work, and music :) I really want to know everything about nutrition and holistic/ alternative health. I'm working on becoming a dietician and possibly going to osteopathic school in the future.
I'm going to start being more open about veganism and environmental issues instead of letting people live in their toxic lives.
I love travel more than anything! I've been to something like 23 countries... I can't wait to go into the peace corps/ volunteer program to work with kids.
I also play soccer, the elliptical machine lol, and my own form of yoga.

So far just at the gym. We have a really nice rock climbing gym called Rocks & Ropes. I'll have to buy a rope to do outdorr climbing. I definitely recommend climbing, though. It's a ton of fun and really opens your eyes to what your body is capable of.
I can certainly empathize with the challenges of following a healthful living program in an environment where others don't seem to understand. My heart goes out to you.
I highly suggest you take the time to read the book. It is well worth your time.
I think you will enjoy the following teleconference titled The Truth About The 80/10/10 Diet:
First off, congrats on taking such huge steps to take care of yourself, to love yourself more. It's wonderful thing and I know transiting to a new diet can be a challenge.
Have you read The 80/10/10 Diet book? I ask, because your comments suggests otherwise. Just curious :)
