- 27 , I live in NC with my husband who is in the USCG. I am currently in school to heading towards a degree in Health and PE . I love the whole idea of eating a diet of fresh, raw and orgainic foods (although I am not 100% at the moment). I was 100% a few years back and I am finding my way back with the help and inspiration of my friends here at GI2MR!!

- avocados!!!!, raw fruit pie, dates, mango's, almond milk, a big colorful spinach salad, cucumber - celery- spinach juice and raw ice cream!
- Interests (outside of Raw Food):
- I love being one with nature, doing yoga, wild animals, my cats, spending time with my husband and new friends, traveling, seeing things i've never seen before, being inspired and inspiring others

- The Seduction of Silence, Celestine Vision, Philosophy books, Practicing the Power of Now, The Power of Now, now studying A New Earth, John Grisham books... lots of others!

Am I Lost....?

I love organic, don't you?!
As I cut up a tomato, shredded a carrot, sliced some onion, and dropped a few cubes of an avocado into my spinach salad I realized that everything was organic! This brought me complete satisfaction. I just feel great when everything is organic. Sure it's more expensive, but health is wealth, right?

I'm now reading "The Power of Now" by Ekchart Tolle, "The Essence of Buddhism" by Traleg Kyabgon, and "Eating for Beauty" by David Wolfe... Have you read "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elisabeth Gilbert yet? I have that one I my shelf, and I think that will be a good reading experience. :)
Jesus has been my "hero" and guru my whole life, so I'm a strong believer in his teachings. :) But I think the true meaning of his teachings is better understood by buddhism than what's in the Bible. I recommend reading "Living Buddha, Living Christ" and "Being Peace" by Thich Nhat Hanh. Beautiful books!
