What type of friends are you looking to make here?: All kinds- one can never have enough friends!

Interests (outside of Raw Food):: yoga, meditation, reading, internet research, travel, healthy lifestyle to name a few.

Good news, I met two girls today at the market. One is opening a raw cafe in Hollywood called Raw Genious and the other, a raw cafe in Ft. Lauderdale called Green Wave Cafe. Broward is catching on!

I'm so excited, 19 more days. . woohoo! I can't wait to be surrounded by 3k raw foodies =D

Yes. I thought after all you've been through, it might help to have such a friend. Mostly I think it helps just to know someone personally who has survived healthily like this for so long. It seems many if not most claiming to be experts, writing books, etc. have only been raw one to five years. So while it truly is a wonderful "fad" to get into, I imagine many understandably question the long term affects.

I volunteer on Lincoln Road in South Beach with ARFF (Animal Rights Foundation of Florida). Not sure how often you make it down to the Beach, but if you do, be sure to say 'hi' :)
