When you say I don’t care
you’ll see me, I will stare
from the street, over there.
Don’t be shy don’t be scared
if you see me flying through the air.
I go to you, I come in peace
all the love you will receive,
when I spread all my wings
because I am you, you are me.
Through consciousness we’ll be free.
Live for now, clear the mind
take a walk, you’ve got time,
in the clouds and in the sky,
you’re invited anytime.
When you play…

I love that your mom is named Cruz and the canela tea sounds sooo nice. I grew up with Chai..mmm..
So I looked at your chart and you're my sister! Well, you were born two days after her but there are enough similarities between your charts that it's no wonder I feel such a deep familiarity with you. You & I have some nice connections (more on this later...) and your chart shows amazing potential for spiritual growth & enlightening adventures for you this lifetime!
Your permaculture goals are wonderful. My biggest advice would be to keep this in mind: In the near future, the U.S. will be a really tuff place to be as the world supply of cheap energy diminishes taking the lavish AMERICAN lifestyle down with it forcing people to have to learn to make do with less. As the saying goes, the mightiest fall the hardest. This is a good time to sharpen skills that are useful to our day-to-day lives, things many of us take for granted right now. For example, sewing, growing fruits & veggies, carpentry, etc. And plan for off-the-grid living, solar panels, generators, etc. A more difficult future awaits us all and the best we can do is group together & PREPARE!! Sounds like you're givin yourself a head start!
Con mucho amor,
Shayla
I would love to know more about your permaculture plans. Persimmons are all the rage in N Cal right now...mmm.. Also all my fine herb is grown in SC. Talkin bout SC...feelin a pull ;)
Raw choco is a special treat. I brought dates & raw cacao chunks with me and we make choco-date balls with locally grown, fresh macadamia nuts and vanilla from Papantla. The current batch also has local, shade-grown coffee beans ground into the mix. The next batch will have canela :) What flavors does your brother like to make?
I lived in SC for a couple of years. The organic produce at the local farmer's market was incredible! I hope to make it back there one day.
I live in a town called Coatepec up in the highlands of Veracruz, and it is just lovely here. Cooler temps since we are up 3200 ft, weather is a lot like SC in fact :) I love it and have a great affinity for the latin culture. I'm a bit of a gypsy. Born in India, grew up throughout the States, lived in MX for a year when I was 12, backpacked thru MX & Guatemala after college, and just moved to MX from Austin, TX this past Aug. And I am not done! My goal is to move to a land where a variety of fruit is sweet, luscious, and abundant year round and live in a community of like-minded peeps. Costa Rica and Hawaii have come to my attention. We'll see where the wind blows me :))
What exciting things will you be stirring up in SC?
con besos y amor,
Shayla
