Right now there's 2 places to go to, there's on the eastside in Kirkland, called Dalene's. They were rated the best raw food restaurant in 2007 but they won't be open for very long unfortunately. There's a place in the Seattle University District called Chaco canyon, its a vegan cafe. You can get fresh juice there, raw desserts and a couple raw entrees. Some of their desserts are actually sold now in the local organic stores. Funny thing is I actually go there to eat quinoa bowls, its where I get cooked food when I do eat it. Supposedly a restaurant is supposed to be opening, called Thrive. Some restaurants will apparently make you raw food, but you have to request it a couple days ahead of time
If you haven't already, here's the website for the Raw Network in Seattle

You can find listings for restaurants, juice bars, raw events and raw meetups, depending your area. Not too many raw places up here yet, but at least there's a community =D
Hi nice to meet you, hope you find your way up in Seattle at some point. There are 2 raw food restaurants here/cafes, but unfortunately soon to be only 1, but supposedly another one is opening soon (hopefully). Lots of fresh air and is near water though, that's for sure. I'll check out Ken Wilber, always nice to have new things to read
How are you? It's nice to meet you! You want to move to the Seattle area? Have you been before? Sammamish is about 25 minutes East of Seattle (with no traffic). It is green out here but, they are developing as fast as they can so, who knows what the future holds. We lived in the city for a few years and there are some great neighborhoods in the city you might look into. You asked about affordable housing, what is affordable to you? Are you looking to buy or rent? I'm not sure that anything is affordable out here housing prices are insane. Anyways...you should come out and explore for sure! Sometimes you just need to experience the neighborhood to get a good feel.
