hey! thanks for the compliments! im actually just going to change up my playlist as we speak. Hope your raw journey is going swell. im just re-starting if you will and working on getting up to 95% its actually not hard at all...its just that people have a tuff time telling the difference than WANTING to do something..rather than doing it just for the sake or it, and because you know there's some sort of change that needs to happen. speak soon..and hope all's well..
Pathetic name, I know. It's my family's cat. My parents found him on the street and took him in and we've had it for like 15 years now. We tried so many names in the beginning, and we settled on Mitchell for awhile, but... I don't know... it just kept coming back to Cat. Cat the cat. So original, right?
No, it's great! It tastes just like cooked corn....Here's the recipe for the salad, try it out!
For the salad:
3 C fresh corn kernels (cut from the cob)
1 C roughly chopped celery
1 C chopped green onions
For the Dressing:
1/2 C Thai Coconut Water
1/4 C Lemon Juice, fresh
2 T Agave Nectar
2 T Olive Oil
1 1/2 t sea salt
1 T curry powder
1/4 C raw pine nuts
Mix all salad ingredients in a large bowl thoroughly.
Combine all dressing ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour over salad, toss well and serve!
I adapted this recipe from Matt Amsden's Rawvolution. The original version has 1 bunch fresh cilantro in the salad, and no Nama Shoyu in the dressing. It is far more sweet and tart; and it's a wonderful salad w/spring rolls! However, because I was serving Nori rolls and Not Tuna, I wanted it to have a stronger presence...Let me know what you think!

This is fantastic, so you if you are attempting to take screen shots, that means you actually have some data to show me!! Yay!!!
OK, when you hit print screen it will save it to your "clipboard"
Then next step is to paste it into an email or paste it into "Paint" which is an application that comes with Microsoft Windows. If you paste it into Paint, then you can save that as an image and send it via email as an attachment.
Ill hook u up with the recipe as soon as I find it I will post it.. I havnt made it in a while but when i made it me n my friends couldnt get enough of it, it was so good with salad I found myself eating alot more greens oh it was good in a nori roll too, I mixed like 3 different recipes I found for raw hummus and made a master peice... coming soon promise meanwhile checkout my mangocado salsa in the recipe section :-)
