The Doctor of the future will give NO medicine, but will interest his patients in diet & nutrition, exercise and the care of the human frame. He will teach them about the cause of ALL disease. Thomas Edison

Isn't................like they say.......if it's not broken don't fix it, or why keep trying to reinvent the wheel when the original worked GREAT! :)
Thanks for the sweet comments! They are great kids, I've been blessed! Hubby's great too.....:)
I have moments too but like you I agree my body has become snobby too and flushes it right out! :)
And that comment by Thomas Edison.... isn't it mindboggling that its taken THIS long for "doctors" to start teaching that again! (I'm going to borrow it as my fav quote too...thanks!)
Well, hey...there have been moments...um, not so raw...but (*shhhh*) don't tell anyone. When you're raw so long...your body gets very snobby and flushes any "slip ups" in a hurry. I admit I was lucky to have had an early start. The first years can be hard and filled with struggle...but I can say...its a breeze after those first couple decades. *wink* I knew I had it mastered when I went to a buffet while visiting my aunt and uncle one summer, and stood at the end of the long tables just staring mesmerized and bewildered. My aunt came up to me and said, go ahead...pick something. And I said, "What is it?" She looked at me like I was a martian, and said: "Bread!" It was one of those fancy dancy buffets with all sorts of braided and gourmety bread thingies. It had been so long since I'd eaten bread... I shocked myself not recognizing it.
I love your quote. I wish this to be true with all my heart, as I work in the medical field and see so many people suffering....and the answer is on their plate.
