Steph's awesome, huh? I'm great! I think I went raw sometime in June, it's been rapid changes this year - I became vegetarian, quit smoking cigarettes, quit drinking, quit anti-depressants, then quit smoking pot and became raw vegan. Right now I'm just doing school and reading a bunch, doing my own research etc.

I am good- just officially went raw july 20th so it is early days for my rawDelicious journey yet! But thankfully I have a great resource of experience and knowledge in my wonderful sister Steph! ;) How are you?
There are no raw restaurants yet! The easiest place for greens is probably Kelmarna Gardens in Grey Lynn, although on saturdays there is a farmers market at Britomart in the CBD. Other than those your best bet is Harvest Wholefoods in Grey Lynn. The only other sources I know of round that area would be community gardens. http://www.organicexplorer.co.nz/ this is a great resource
Hey Joseph, Can you recommend any places to eat out or buy organic veges from around central Auckland? I'm going to be up there for a few days at a conference and staying on Elliot St. All the places I used to go to up there are from when I was cooked vegan.
Her parents were chefs right? I'm a pretty spiritual person so I believe that when someone is like that (anti somthing) they are usually being defensive - she sounds like: if raw is the way forwards then what her parents and her were working on all those years doesn't really matter in the modern day. That's really threatening stuff to most people so they will bash raw food even against their own inner knowledge. I guess I don't take anything tooo seriously but I do have a lot of faith that what I'm doing is right for me and I'm sure you feel similar or you wouldn't be raw. Believe me - medically, clinically, scientifically, culturally and spiritually raw works better than everything else as long as it's done correctly. The only real PHYSICAL reasons I've encountered for not going raw are not being able to afford very easily and getting too cold - all others appear to be just psychological issues. My faith in this is strong enough that I could take shit all day from people against it - I am proof that it's successful and so are the many others, even if it's not 100%. Just look at the huge community online, I'm sure it will show you this is really the modern way of approaching health, even if it's just MORE raw!
