Hi Robbie-
I don't know if they would technically call it permaculture but they farm in a totally different way than we do here. They learned their lesson during the high-intensity banana farming days and are now all about organics and bio-diversity... Felix's family mostly grew tropical root crops (tania, dasheen, cassava, etc.) , cacao, and a bunch of different kinds of tropical fruits most of which I have never even heard of...

We should definitively meet up at the mango festival!
Is your husband familiar with Permaculture?
Yep, those are good markets.

Above is a link for more info on the mango festival.
Do you grow any of your own food? Do mangos grow where you live?
Where do you live in South Florida?
I am at UF in Gainesville right now, but I do down there frequently to get high quality food.
Are you going to the International Mango Festival?
High Fives,
Robby
