Hello beautiful!
I am so glad to hear you are feeling better. There really is nothing worse that being sick.
I did order the MMS...now I just have to wait for it to get to me from the US. But I shall keep you updated on how that goes.
The retreat. It was a physical, emotional, spiritual detox. When I went there last time I was there to focus more on getting back into my yoga practise..so I didn't quite know what to experience this time. It was intense. I've always been one to hold everything in emotionally..and it all came flooding out by the second day I was there. I have never been one to cry..and on that second day I couldn't bloody stop! I wasn't prepared to feel like that..completely out of control of my emotions and I was really wanting to get out of there but stuck it out and ended up feeling awesome the following day.
I had daily massages and had a Kinesiology session which was freakishly wicked. Food wise the rooms are decked out with juicers and blenders and you make all of your own meals. There is a huge veggie garden and herb garden and all the other fruits and veg supplied is all organic. So it was lots of salads and green smoothes for me :)
I've left there questioning my 'over-thought-well planned future' and have no idea where I am to go next but I know it will come to me.
Intense!
Is your website up yet? I would love to check it out.
Oh I am sorry to hear you're not feeling very well :( I hope the bowel infection clears up soon. You might be interested in reading this...http://mmsmiracle.com It apparantly is amazing stuff. Detoxifies the body completely. I am actually in the process of ordering some myself. It basically goes through the body and eradicates all foreign beings..parasites, infection, mould etc etc. Has been known to cure cancers even. I was put on to it by the woman that runs the health retreat.
Rest up doll, drink pleanty of fluids. Am thinking of you..sending you good get-well vibes :)
Hello beautiful.
I apologise for my tardiness of replying to you, I have been away at a health retreat :) Try not to be too jealous ;) It was awesome. I had a wonderful week away of complete relaxation, meditation, spiritual and psychic work and beautiful raw foods to make all of my delish meals. Heaven.
I hope you had a beautiful week and weekend.
What you eat sounds delish! I forgot to mention that I take a calcium supp derived from sea veg and I too take digestive enzymes. I do include some tahini and I have 'just' ordered Maca powder. Is it good for bones? I was getting it more for the hormonal regulation factors. How are you in that department? Have you regained menstruation? I know that having ammenhorrea (sp?) affects your bones greatly. I am yet to get mine back yet. I guess still due to the low body weight.
I too drink alot of water and many herbal teas throughout the day.
I have been considering trying psyllium husks (again..) to get more fibre into my diet to help with the flow of things.
I do have to get back into juicing and sprouting grains and pulses, its just been such a chaotic mess with moving house and all.
I hope you have a fab day sweet!

I do find taking a digestive enzymes help & probiotics
I drink two litres of water
and I do take a vegan multi vit & calcium bone formular, which is what I would recomend for you to have, as what you are eating now does not have alot of calcium/magnesium in sweetie, that why I have a green soup every day tahini, seeds & lots of maca.
Making an infusion on nettle tea, horsetail, hemp leaf would be great drink 3xaday I put hemp leaf powder in me soups.
I'm still not my ideal weight yet I want to at least make it to 7st I will get there! and so wil you.
I do hope that helps a little?
Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi Marianna,
First of all I think you are doing wonderfully, with such a positive attitude you will make a full recovery I'm sure!!
I know exactly what you mean about the bloating etc, I'm the same but I've learn't alot since eating raw, what my body will work with and what it doesn't.
With me I find food combining helps & also eating little a offen, I don't do well on dried fruit either, bloats me alot so I tend to leave it out.
I would say I'm 90% raw, when I was 100% I was just loosing too much weight & was constanly constipated.
Because of the trauma I've put my body through for 10years, binging/purging/starving etc, me body finds it hard to simulate raw food to a certain degree, & because its all cold food & I live in the most cold, damp climate my system would seize up! so incorperating steamed veg & some sprouted bread really helped the constipation. If I was to eat what you are having I would be bloated/constipated as it is mostly liquid, but if that is working for you right now than that brill!.
Because I work from home I find eating little & offen works for me.
what I eat is ready!
6.00am carrot/ginger juiced with scoop greens powder
Hello! It is a bit of a nightmare..but I don't like to look at it like that. I see it more as a challenge, one which I will win.
I would most definately like to help each other. Its hard finding the support in the 'real world' so to have someone to go on the same journey would be fab.
I am still yet to begin my studies...(I tried to get into it this year but my eating disorder got in the way due to immense stress) so I am basically just focusing on getting my health and wellbeing back on track and then I shall move forth with my studies.
I would most definately say I am recovering. I am nowhere near the stage where I can say I am recovered, but I know that one day I will get there. Some people say you never fully recover from this, but I believe its possible. I refuse to live with this for the rest of my life!
In regards to my raw lifestyle, I am still finding that balance. Everything seems to upset my digestive system and cause insane bloating/discomfort/constipation etc..so it is hard. It is also hard being more flexible in regards to the volume of food and variety, but I am working on that.
My day usually starts with a green smoothie with banana, berries, goji berries, chia seeds or coconut oil, bit of cacao and some barley grass powder and lots of kale or spinach.
Lunch is usually a salad with lots of greens including seaweed, shredded carrot and beetroot, capsicum, sprouts etc and some germinated nuts and/or seeds dressed in a bit of olive oil or an avocado dressing of some sorts.
Dinner is much the same as lunch.
It was lovely hearing back from you...I hope you have a beautiful happy day :)

Hello there Julie.
I was just browsing through some of the threads in here and found your one on Osteoporosis. I am in the same boat as you..with the whole ED osteoporosis thing and desperately want to reverse the damage i've done. Reading all of your repercussions from your years of eating disorders sounds just like something I wrote..only that I am 22. I do wish you all the best in your recovery and I really do believe that through raw foods and finding the right balance we will both reach our health goals.
