thinking warm thoughts

Hey lovely - hows you??? hows the work situation going? Sorry Ive not been in contact, been a bit rough recently.
I still cannot get over our ridiculously close lives lol.
I've not read any gabriel cousens yet but he's DEFINITELY on my list of things to read. As for the Hovanessian book, I have a copy and you can get it from a religious site in the states, and they sent me a copy, it was prety cheap too if i remember!! I'll dig out the website and send you the link after work!
Hi Lulushka! It's really good to see you here on GI2MR! The raw food lifestyle has been going very well for me. I give myself some leeway being only 90% raw of course. But that brings me to the question of why are you feeling quilty Lulushka? Are you not grown woman? Well, since you are girlfriend, I don't think that you should be feeling guilty about setting your own boundaries concerning this raw foods lifestyle, and no one should be condemning you about having a hot meal every now and then either...I certainly am not! And it if brings you any comfort, I'll have you to know that I will be having plenty of hot soup with my raw bread this winter ;-) Besides, one of the many reasons I've chosen the raw foods lifestyle is because it is the healthiest, most natural option for me, and you probably think it is so for you too. But, I'm sure it's not very healthy for us to be walkin' around cold all the time either! Life is to be enjoyed, not to be full of guilt and regret.
If it's weighing on your conscience a whole lot to eat warm or hot food, why not try sipping on some hot tea or hot water with your meals?
Well anyways Lulushka...it's good to see you here on GI2MR and thank you for approving my friend request
;-) Let's stay in touch :-)
Hey lovely - sorry its taken me so long t get back to you - I'm limitin my exposure on the computer in an attempt o read more - you know how it is, you end up going to heck your emails and then 3 hours later yo're going 'where did all that time go?!?!'
I'm reading the China Study at the moment and it's really resonating with me as I like scientific fact as my logical brain can't dispute it so I'm more likely to stick with something or that motivates me more than simply thinking 'Its good for me'
I cannot believe, you're armenian, your sister's called narine, YOURE RAW AND you live about 5 mins from me hahaha!! I live in New Malden!!!!!! How wierd is this?!?!?! Ha. Too cool.
Me getting into raw? I've always been drawn to the idea of being a vegetarian but never really felt my family would understand it so never did it as a child. My dad has a shop on the kings road in chelsea that makes and sells leather jackets (here in London) so I also kind of felt like a hypocrite (I am now involved in the business too and import cowboy boots from spain too - more on this later). Anyway, despite all this I was a meat eater until about 14 months ago when I saw a programme on chicken. It totally grossed me out and I decided to stop eating meat (I still ate fish occassionally and dairy). THEN, by pure chance I went to a gourmet raw food night at Bikram yoga Chiswick held by Dr Morgaine Gaye (theres a blog about it on my page somewhere) and was blown away by how good and yummy the food was. At this point, I didn't know the reasoning behind raw and decided to follow this up with a seminar Morgaine was doing about 2 weeks later. Again, the science hit a nerve and I did 3 months completely raw and felt AMAZING. Since then I've had about 3 weeks where I wasn't raw but I've been high raw ever since. I'm in a second phase of getting backup to very high as I felt amazing. I've also given up alcohol.
Eeeek - late for work, I'll try and elaborate on this later for you! Hope you had great weekend xx
Hey Lulush! HOW cool your sister is called Narin TOO!!!!! (mine's without the e though).
Awww yay, I'm half Armenian and half English - I don't know that many Armenians in London at all and all my cousins are like 'you only want to eat RAW food? - so you eat cold chicken, right?' Hilarious.
Most of dad's family live in Australia or Istanbul and we haven't got any Armenian family over here now, so my Armenian's a bit rubbish. I went to Sunday school for about 2 months when I was like 5 but dad had to go do his military service in Turkey so they'd let him back in to visit his mum and we stopped going (it was miles from home and mum didn't drive at the time).
You should definitely come to the Vitaorganic thing at the end of the month, that'd be cool!! Where abouts in town are you? I'm just outside it near wimbledon way.
thank you L for being my raw friend :) I love music as well - check out: AMIINA (beautiful Icelandic girls band) and SIGUR-RÓS (also from Iceland - love them and the singer is raw.... :)
Yeah they're great. What? how can you be Armenian and never heard of Armenian cucumbers? Maybe they don't call them that everywhere. Technically, they're melons, but they grow really well here in Arizona. Check it out:
