Bryan~~thanks so much for your feedback; I just ordered your book from Amazon but will go back and order the other books you recommend. I think alot of it has to do with motivation and not giving in to temptation during the transitional times of the day. Do you ever offer any seminars or classes in the NY area...? How can I find out more about the Mycotoxin ingredients?
Thanks!
Hi Amy yes! Try to get the right raw info, now is the best time while you are new and everything is possible for you. As an example say you are learning to play the guitar, it is always best to learn the right and correct techniques at the start so that you don't pick up bad habits or techniques that you have to go back and try to fix later on which makes it harder. So with that in mind try to read Gabriel Cousens MD books: Conscious Eating and also his new The Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine both are in my opinion the BEST RAW Food books that explains EVERYTHING you need to know about how to do RAW Correctly, how to avoid HIGH Mycotoxin ingredients which for some reason a lot of people use still even though the information and warnings are out there! In my book I do not use ANY high mycotoxin ingredients, there is NO dehydrating in any of my recipes, and I did all the research to make RAW fast, fun, easy, and of course RAWmazingly RAWlicious!
Some more advice is to learn from others who have been doing it a LONG TIME like 10+, many new people are getting into it which is GREAT but there is a lot of different info floating around you want the best, most correct, optimal, etc. Gabriel Cousens is an MD, is 100%, has been doing it 20+ years, I have been 12+ years, etc.
Also most importantly have fun with it and enjoy it, don't make it a "percentage" or a "problem" enjoy the RAW, the process and let your body transition slowly into it for max benefits!
There is so much to learn, benefit from and more. For me for the past 12+ years I still learn more everyday about how RAW solves and saves EVERYTHING in the most fun delicious ways possible.
It is a very rewarding and rawmazing experience...
