AWWW. Starflower, your niece and nephew are ever precious! They look SO healthy and vibrant! And, wow, too, the green jumps out at me in this pic. Green is my favourite of all colours! How gorgeous!
"Lella" is the name of a dear old elderly friend, I do believe, of my sister-in-law's that passed. She so adored and respected her. It is a very unique name I am told, yes. I don't know if it was this lady's nickname or real name. "Lella Brooks" is this litl' lady's first and middle name. I don't know of any origins beyond that, nor does Carrye, my sis-in-law (re: adopted sister), I don't believe.
What a cool nickname you had. I've always thought this was a cool name! Might I ask, was Lella short for your name...or did you hold that nickname for another reason? If you feel comfortable sharing, no pressure...
Hope that helps, Ms. StarFlOwEr. What a gorgeous name you have now, too! :0) ;0)
Hi Starflower,
Bryan was a little off the mark. I had to have my thyroid removed because of thyroid cancer, and then i was forced into a hypo state to receive cancer treatment. I had a difficult time recovering from that. It took a year to get the medication right but i was still exhausted all the time especially when i went back to work, going raw has really helped me, alot of my symptoms and side effects went away and my energy improved greatly, but I can't say i cured myself becuase i still don't have a thyroid and will need to take THyroid medication for the rest of my life. I know it is possible and i hope you pursue all natural remedies before deciding to take thyroid meds. It may take some time depending on how low your levels have gotten. I did get help, I went to the Living Foods Institute where I did an intensive detox for 10 days. I found it difficult on my own at first so doing the program helped. Please ask me any specific questions or let me know what you're doing so far.
Best wishes on your recovery
Hi Starflower my friend Ann Oconnoly was able to cure her thyroid condition on RAW food you may want to message and ask her how she did it, she is very nice and can help you:

Hi Starflower..
Sorry, I have no experience with the thyroid questions, but there have been times when I've questioned whether or not I have thyroid things going on, so I'll be following your thread. Nice to have you here.
