WhoRaw, I make this tea concoction from Pau D'Arco, Cats Claw, etc. and then I add some lemon and grate a little ginger in it and let it steep as long as you like. I was also told that pineapple is a great anti-inflammatory. I went to the co-op yesterday and picked up some Arnica gel to rub on my knee and it appears to be helping. I have also read that turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory but I don't have any recipes using that so I'm going to stick with the Arnica and the ginger tea.
That's funny about the shuffler. I always have speed walkers pass me toward the end of the races.
I'm definitely going to start working on speed when I get back to running and do some 5K and 10Ks.
Thanks WhoRaw. I am so happy that it all went well for you. I'm really not that disappointed about the race...I did finish and that is all that matters. It's surprising because I am not sore but for the knee. My other leg and the rest of my body feel great, so I just need to find out what is going on with the knee. It appears to have accumulated some fluid so I may knuckle under and see a doc about it. I'm drinking ginger tea to help with the inflammation. I wish I still took Advil : )
Once again, I am so happy that things went well for you. Congratulations and keep running.

Heck I've been working out for 15 plus years and my body doesn't look like yours. I know genetics has alot to do with it, but dang. I also think for me I'm not lifting the right amount of weights reps or something. I must admit my body does look a little different but I want it to be PHAT.
I want to have more definition, my arms are pretty big and I've been told to lift heavy weights, well I can lift 15-20#'s bicep curls. I do about 75 pushups and about 100-150 situps. Some weeks I'm more consistant than others with those two exercises. I workout 4-5 days a week consistently. :O
Well, I have been working out since 1992. Why do you think that you are doing something wrong.
I took the new pics last night. I compared them to the original one I posted as my profile pic and some other pics on my desk...my face is thinner. I always thought I had a round face...lol
Natural is a good way to go...I specialize in natural hair care. Don't go back to chemically process hair. That goes against your new lifestyle of raw!!!!. Be comfortable being you!!!
