Hi Dave.... so I'm trying to get in Scotland and you're trying to get out.... :) (although,, I only want to go and see, but preferably in summer - it's been one of my 'dreams' for quite som time)...I'm not far at all, but can't quite get there for some reason..... I hope you'll resolve your dilemma soon.
You seem to like photography, your pictures are beutiful. And I also love the composition when taking picture of the raw meal.... Have a nice day :)
Hi Dave - I love your photos! Hope you're having a lovely day - Edinburgh was not quite so cold today, thank god - I got quite a shock last week when the cold snap came in! Karina xxx
Ah! sorry, i didn't explain the barefoot. The teacher is called 'the barefoot doctor' altough barefoot would have been cool but a bit chilly this time of year:) See you sunday with da mangos
Oh cool, I'll see you on Sunday then. I'd like to have a more simple diet - I seem to be moving towards that. But making stuff is also fun! I'm reading 80 10 10 so your banana and mangoes with wee faces sounds perfect. And I bet you could draw all sorts on a banana. Or peel it, write a word on it, then zip it back up again, and it would be like a packet of lovehearts. Sort of.
Hmm, that barefoot workshop does sound interesting, will be good to chat. The illusion stuff is fascinating. What I have been taught suggests that everything is an illusion of your own creation. Essentially you create your own universe and you are the only thing in it. Everything on the outside is a reflection of what's inside. I still don't get why you needed to be barefoot - from my perspective you are still you with or without shoes on your feet. In my world, I would have created a furry boots workshop probably. However, I understand it may be symbolic so that's cool. I like symbolic stuff, or in NLP we could call it anchoring. What I have 'discovered' is that I think everything is probably the same, whether it's called NLP or Shamanism or any other ology or ism. It's the same message, or thereabouts.
Yeah I'm good, hope you are too, and yes the pot luck was fab. So much tasty food - we had a curry and cake theme as it turned out and it was delicious. I made onion bhajiis and carrot cake. Mmmm... What was best though was chatting to other raw folk.
I think Em's back at the weekend - I'm not sure though, I'm a bit confused, but I think I might be going over there on Sunday for dinner.
And what, pray tell, is a barefoot retreat? I think I can guess, particularly about the barefoot bit, but would be interested in the purpose.
Hey Dave
Hope you enjoyed the retreat. Moira said you'd brought along all your greens :)
Yeah Cat moved in a couple weeks ago. It's going well, nice raw flat going on. Remember the potluck is on the 12th Oct at 2pm. You and the lovely Susan are more than welcome and I hope you can make it. We'll probably infact definitely be through before then though so will give you a shout.
I've been superfood busy of late. Have major stockpiles going on and loving it. Etherium is heavy isn't it? I love it though.
How's things with you?
Em x
Ah, I was there today! I worked my master plan so only had a small smoothie, which left plenty room for 2 bits of cake and of course a hot chocolate. Felt amazing! Didn't go to Princes St but went to McArther Glen Centre. That was weird, the people seemed quite odd to me. And kept bumping into me - it was as though I had gone invisible! I had to expand my energy field to create some room - realise that sounds mad but you probably know what I mean! But I did get a pair of jeans and a jacket and did so much other stuff in the day - the RS fuel kept me going all day. I think me and Emma are coming back through on the 13th. Are you about then?
