- About Me:
- Several weeks ago I started my raw food journey. I’m from Holland. 34 years of age. I was a vegetarian before I went raw (macrobiotic). I have always been slim so raw food is not a weight issue for me… Since 2 years I have developed asthma and with raw food (and mental ease) I’m trying to control it in a way that I don’t have to take medication anymore… During the last couple of months I have read many books regarding raw food and how to alkalize your body, the do’s and the don’ts, listened to RawSummits and visited very informative websites… I have found (luckily at the beginning of my journey) that there is a lot of conflicting information…as for now I’m into these visions:
Brian Clement – Robert O. Young – Frederic Patenaude – Gabriel Cousins – Karen Knowler – Dr Doug Graham – Boutenko
And even these visions conflict at certain issues. I guess it’s just a matter of listening attentively to my own body, both physically as emotionally. Because in the end I am the only one that truly experiences how my body responds and how I feel.

wat leuk dat je van DH bent, jammer dat je er niet meer woont. Ik heb gezocht, maar kon niets vinden in Den Haag, Amsterdam is dus echt the place to be. Volgens mij heb ik je ooit gezien op de forum van Laura Levensvuur, je hoopte andere gelijkgestemden te vinden met wie je info, ervaringen kunt uitwisselen en samen raw food bereiden. Daar ben ik zelf totaal voor! Veel liefs
One day, I will come to the Netherlands because I LOVE, LOVE Dutch people and if there was ANY language I want to learn, it's Dutch.
I've learned Afrikaans (close to Dutch, but not quite), Japanese, French and done some Spanish, but Dutch is totally my favorite!!
Helps that my Opa was a wooden shoe maker his whole life. ;-) Kinda got it in the blood.

thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed the interview... i understand what you mean about conflicting raw info... that's why i'm testing everyone's theories on my performance... a lot of what is being said is just not true... and that's unfortunate.
