I just wanted to post a quick update - I woke up this morning lighter in weight - 7 pounds lighter than when I started my feast on Sunday. Also, I am more light hearted and my days seem brighter. I still have difficulties (a little detoxing and some sluggishness now and then), but nothing any worse than before feasting, and I feel inspired.
I noticed today that my arms have more definition to them and they feel stronger, though I have a long way to go. I haven't been working out this w…

If you read my other two posts, I was previously feasting on green smoothies, but that quickly ended when I went on my extended holiday vacation on Dec. 15 and didn't come back until Jan. 5 - I still had some smoothies while I was visiting with family and friends, but maybe one a day for the first week, then it went down hill from there. By the time I got back home, and the following two or three weeks after that, my skinny jeans, which had become my fat jeans while smoothie feasting, were on…

I’ve had several people ask me, both privately and publicly, if I’ve gotten new pants. So here is an abbreviated version of my story. I gained a LOT of weight in the course of just two years, most of it within just one year. It might not be considered a lot of weight to some people, but to me it was tremendous. I literally have four different sizes of pants in my closet – that’s how much I gained in two years. After I finally halted the weight gain, I refused to buy an entir…

I don't think its dumb to need a goal--maybe thats just how it is for you. I do better with a defined goal too.
Have fun in LA!! Wish I were going with you!!
I'm totally off raw, but I still come here a lot, hoping to feel inspired enough to try again.
I still do some smoothies and greens, salad, etc, but I've been into a lot of chocolate stuff. Maybe i"m waiting until I hit bottom, I don't know.
Met a woman here in town thats into it. She's from Ukraine, and came to HS and college here. We had an interesting chat over tea. That is encouraging, and we swapped books. So there are 1-2 others around who are into it.
Also supposed to help a friend do a raw meal for her coworkers in Aug, which is soon approaching.
I keep enough raw that I don't hit bottom, because when I start to feel extremely crappy, I drink a green smoothie, hard core. .........Not the best way to live, but I'm not fighting with myself right now.... maybe I should..........
Hope you are doing well!!
I started a group called Raw Women. I hope you'll join. Have a great day!

I"m a little concerned, wondering if I can do it. Last night I listened to a voice in my head that said, "make a chocolate cheesecake" .
Shall we start a Lent group for everyone to keep track of, instead of just a discussion? what do you think>?
I think I will. .................
