You'll be back to running, you'll see. You have it in you. To have overcome so much this far is a testament to your strength. You are certainly in my thoughts. To have things change in an instant as you were doing something to allow an emergency vehicle to go by. Incredible. It sounds as though eating raw has given you additional strength in your fight back to health.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. If you need anyone to talk to just send me a message. I'd be more than happy to chat with you.
You bet! And happy V-Day to you too! You'll have to let me know how the chips turn out for you or if you come up with a yummy variation. It seems so versatile you know? Next up for me are flax crackers. I think I will try Karen Knowler's version to start. Have a good night!
Heya RawHonesty! Here's the original chip recipe (http://goneraw.com/recipes/1397-Corn-chips) but here are my changes (corn, flax & salt measurements I keep the same): decrease onion to 1/2 (or quarter depending on size), 1 tsp chipotle seasoning, and 1/2 tsp cayenne (or more - suit your tastes). We like it with a little kick. This last time I used part of a purple onion. Still came out d-lish! I suppose I should've posted this to your forum but I was being lazy! :) Any way you make these they are soooo good with guac. Gotta have my chips, salsa and guac. Ha ha!
That IS funny! Thanks, Raw has made such a difference.:-)
Aww thanks that's very sweet of you! I absolutely Love GITMR because I get to meet people like you!
Hello! I just found your comment on my page ... toss that one up to me not paying attention to details.
I am happy you enjoyed my ramblings. I had to re-read my posts on "Raw Guru or Blowhard" to find out what I said. Admittedly, I should pay more attention to these items, but alack and alas, my mind is too scattered.
Your post about "personal responsibility" did resonate with me strongly, so I thank you for that addition (love your "unpretentious" tag as well - the "anti-Juliano", hahahaha). Sometimes these conversations on the forum can turn into train wrecks if we're not careful; hence, my reason to back out of that particular one.
Thanks for peering into my world. My book is coming along nicely (last night was a chapter-long rant ... I have to re-read it for the occasional scripted meanderings I do)
