I 've been eating a high raw foods diet for the past year now, firstly learning about the Hallelujah diet and then wanting to transition more into a total raw way of eating. I'm not there yet! I lived in Seattle for a while and completed an internship with "dalenes" restaurant, the best raw vegan restaurant in Kirkland, WA. If any of you are ever in the area, go there for the experience. You won't regret it. From there I am looking into expanding my knowledge so I can teach others, hold classes etc. I love this way of eating, it is definitely God's way!

Well that’s really funny. I have been likened to hugh grant from time to time, but colin firth is a firthst...i mean…fisrt, ur, first! Sorry, speech impediment.
Hm…I dunno... id say I just look somewhere between serene and vacant. or mischevious and naïve? Or just confused! Who knows. But apparently british.
Do you use sprouted grains of some kind? Or just the veggies inside the nori? I haven’t done nori rolls raw yet, just w/cooked rice in the past. So it’s new to me! I would imagine sprouted quinoa might be nice, though. Mm…
Hi Yaa
Nice to hear from you. I did the Health Ed course last September at Hippocrates in WPBeach, I got back to England in March and have found it isn't as easy to be raw as it is in sunny Florida, but luckily myself and my other half are both committed to the lifestyle, so it does make it a little easier.
How come you didn't take the job at Hippocrates, I suppose it would be a bit too far to travel to on a daily basis from Orlando!
It would be great to meet up when you are in town, keep in touch and let me know.
I notice that you are interested in going 'natural'- good luck, it is a brilliant decision to have come to, I stopped relaxing my hair about 2yrs ago and I love it! it really is so liberating.
thanks for your comment! Ya, temples of God... Once we really grasp that there is just no room left for mistreating ourselves & by that disrespecting & denying the higher force that dwells within us.
I love the journey that you are on & hope you will share selected steps on it!
Hi Yaa - I live here, but I was born in Ghana! I knew you were too because of your name :-) Well, what you could do next depends on whether you want to have loose natural hair (which is what I have - it's basically a big afro that I style in different ways) or locs. What I did was keep my hair in braids until about six months after my last relaxer, and then just cut off all the relaxed part and leave the rest to grow. If you're on facebook, you can add me to your friends (my full name is Adwoa Bart-Plange). I have a photo album documenting my journey that may be useful! There are also groups on facebook with links to websites that have useful information!
Wow you live in Switzerland. Were you born there? My parents are from Ghana, but I was born in England. I am in such an early stage just 4mths without relaxer and I think I'll put in braids for a few more months. I don't know if I should start locking or twisting right away. What did you do.? My email is yaamcfarlane@yahoo.com if you have lots of info to send me. My sister has had her hair natural for over 10 years and she has only just started locking it. To be honest I don't know how I put such hazardous toxic waste into my head for so long!
Hi! I noticed that you were interested in going natural - I've been natural myself for almost four years now, so you can totally ask me about it if you need tips - are you transitioning already? Enjoy your journey! It's just as fulfilling as going raw :)
