Wow, yesterday was the first day of spring! At least on the calendar. With all the snow piled up here in Eastern Canada and the continued cold weather its going to take a few weeks before we have some warmer days. We had to make a trip out of town for 5 days and stopped our usual wheatgrass trays and sprouting jars while away. Spring is near! I can smell it in the air despite the recent 15cm snowfall here in the Ottawa Valley. I don't know about you but I am anxious for warmer and longer days. I have enjoyed the outdoor activities the past winter has afforded us but I look forward to getting my hands into the cool spring soil again. I live in Bells Corners (Ottawa). Maybe you could tell me about any raw events, where to get the best produce, etc.
Canada is tough for fresh produce in the winter. The stores have everything imaginable but its not very fresh and its often tasteless and high priced. But we still manage to get by. There is no perfect place on earth in my opinion. Cost of living in Canada is pretty reasonable.

I agree with you on your thoughts and desires for spring...but I think we have one more blast of snow coming at the end of March...well so long term forcast predicts. I'm interested in finding out some information about wholesale distribution of organic produce, and would like to find out where the best place with the best price to purhcase organic produce etc.(I'm in Toronto) I'm going to check out your web site too.
