Hi Kristin! Hajimimashite. Happy New Year [Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu]! How goes it in that beautiful and fascinating country, Japan? I lived there for 3 1/2 months and loved it. I would go for a visit in a heartbeat.
What are you doing during New Years? It must be fun to be in Osaka, lots of places to go and things to see. I am looking forward to our potluck in Jan or Feb 2008. It is going to be wonderful to met up with you and others to chat and connect. By the way is your partner raw too? Is he also going to come?
Well I wish you all the best for next and I hope that you have a great sucess in any of your adventures.
With lots of love and light,
Omid

Adventure racing is mixed-method wilderness racing, that you do with a map and compass. You typically use a combination of trail running, kayaking, and mountain biking to cover the course. It's usually raced in teams. I was invited to join a team last year but couldn't! When I return to the U.S., I hope to be able to do so.
Hey Kristin!
I'm so glad you recommended this site to me.
Anyways, I vaguely remember you talking about your dehydrator when we met...did you say you had one here in Japan, or was that just back home? If you have it here, where did you get it? I'm really itching to get one...
Hope you're well!

A marathoner, there are so many...hopefully I can join that list. I am training on my own for a marathon in SF in August. if you have any tips about what you eat or exercises that you have found beneficial can you give me some hints. Thanks. (=

Wow cultural anthropologist in Japan! Sounds amazing, I'd love to know what you do on an average day with such a cool sounding career.
I'm also a raw runner just getting back into running after a year and a half of just jogging twice a week. I've noticed my muscles stay more sore for longer now than before I went raw after a run. Is there anything you do to alleviate soreness and aid recovery?

Wow, Osaka....
I am a traveling yoga teacher and I visit Kobe a few times a year.
Have you found good sources of organic veggies in Osaka...?
Best,
Govinda
I hope that you had a wonderful Raw Christmas...
