and yeah i guess it's great that i was introduced to healthy eating early on. it was really just a blessing. i became vegan 7.5 months ago, and that's around the same time i met dhrumil. i started checking out wlir, but i became a more avid following and admirer in the last month, so i'm gradually making my way into the raw community. not quite there yet, but hopefully will be soon enough.
in regards to your request for simple recipes -- i know you don't have a blender, but if there's a costco anywhere near you, i'd recommend buying the vitamix. what's great is that there's a 90-day return policy, so you can experiment with it for 3 months and return it if it doesn't work for you. it's $395 there (w/ a 7 year warranty), but you can order a refurbished version online for $249 (w/ a 1 year warranty). it's a bit expensive, but it's definitely a worthwhile investment. check out the rawmodel (anthony anderson) youtube page @ http://www.youtube.com/user/Rawmodel. there's a few simple recipes you can work with there if you get the vitamix.
