When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” -Patanjali

Honestly I couldn't tell you myself. I have an idea of what true hunger is, but it's a fairly new idea. As I get more and more accustomed to my body and the further I get along in the journey I'm sure the ideas will somewhat solidify and I'll truly know.
From what I can tell now:
1) I need to eat when I feel an empty feeling in my stomach. The feeling is unique, and I can tell of it's onset about 30 minutes before it comes.
2) My stomach kind of aches. It doesn't hurt but it kind of talks to me.
3) My body and mind start to weaken. That's usually the breaking point for me. Once I get to this stage I eat for sure.
Unless I satisfy these three guidelines I mentioned above I usually don't eat and feel pretty good by not doing so.
That's cool. I'm glad to be meeting all of these great raw foodist. I just joined to community yesterday!
She was talking about Edgewater, NJ, which is 20 minutes away from me. I'd go but I just saw the guy at Raw Spirit Fest. How many times do I need to see him?
Hey Frank, so I got the Yoga Nidra CD a couple weeks ago and have had a chance to try it out. Do you ever do Yoga Nidra during the day? I usually do it during the evening, and it usually puts me to sleep pretty quickly. I usually fall asleep by the 3rd or 4th track lol
Hey Frank,
All moved in down here in ATL. This place needs some serious bicycle advocacy. No one rides on the streets here, pretty much half my school drives less than 4 miles to get there each morning. You have got something special and I miss it. If I don't make the 7 mile commute every morning I may not see my fixie at all :(
Hey Frank,
Yeah the race was amazing. Never had such a great day. I was asked by my local co-op to give a raw foods presentation after and I got such amazing positive feed back. Raw doesn't have to be complicated and so many people grabbed onto it. So hopefully there will be some more raw athletes popping up here and there. I did see one other racer with a GO VEGAN biking jersey, it made me smile. Anyways I did blog about it, if you can sort through the rest of my disjointed posts you should be able to find it.
AND NOW IT IS FIXIE SEASON. School starts up so my 10 mile daily commute leads me to getting in some nice riding on my favorite bike. I liked how you said riding it is very zen, spot on. I will certainly have to be very aware as I will be commuting in Atlanta. I make the move tomorrow.
Hope all is well guy. Fill me in on some of the music you are listening to. I am always looking to expand that horizon.
Hi Frank!!! Thank you! I love your site here.
I love the course in miracles too. I also took a class on it, at my metaphysical uni.
Have you listened to any of the Abraham Hicks materials?
I'm using the "Creation box" on a regular basis now..
it's so true how fear manifests and joy manifests...
and a higher vibration is just a shift in consciousness away..
I am more in tune with my joys and fears, and I am able to shift to higher vibrations by stopping for a minute, letting the calm within take over any situation, and voila! I'm there! almost in another dimension and a more productive state.
enlightenment is just a minute away, right?
