I need lots of raw but I need meat and grains too at the moment, plus cooked vegetables to keep myself feeling well. I am trying to increase the amount of raw food gradually.
I believe I was born food intolerant to some extent but the problem was compounded by taking antidepressants longterm. I discovered after years of illness that antidepressants were originally developed to control the symptoms of allergy. Supressing the allergies for so many years caused them to multiplied to a devastating extent and have been struggling to deal with the damage ever since.
As I changed my diet I gradually reduced the antidepressant with the aid of a nail file. As I recovered I wrote 'The Hay Diet Made Easy It contains everything I learned, it went into 13 languages and is still in print ' available from Bookpoint +44 01235 400 400.
