The lovely FREE one-day Raw and Wild Festival will be happening at Plawhatch ( biodynamic) Farm, on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12th
from 10-4 p.m. in Sharpthorne, West Sussex, RH18 4JL. U.K.
This day celebrates the healthy abundance of local harvest- and the joyful benefits of bringing a high proportion of raw foods into your daily diet- a practice now well known to benefit health.
You'll find an array of stalls with delicious Juices, Wheatgrass, luscious Power Smoothies, Power Balls, Raw Honey, Raw Cakes, Raw Chocolate, Raw Dairy, including Kefir, Sprouts, Books, Snacks and Funky Recycled Clothing.
'Cafe Shush' will offer high raw options, and a group of inspired speakers will share and demonstrate simple ways of including rawfoods in your daily fare for your health. Steve Charter will talk on 'Why Raw?', Kyle Vialli and Andreas of 'Galaxy of Vitality' and Brighton's Raw 'Manna Cafe' will present on ' The Truth about Nutrition.'
Annette Littling will show you how to make simple and delicious Raw Cakes. There will be other demos on juicing, plus easy raw'licious' dishes. Our closing forum gathers High Raw Enthusiasts who will share their experience, welcome yours, and answer questions.
The Farm Gardening Manager, Tony, will take you on a garden tour and fill you with insights about Biodynamic Gardening and what it offers you and the earth. Tom Ventham, Farm Manager, will discuss 'The Importance of Raw Milk'- . Phil Grist will entertain you with his copious insights on Living Foods and tempt you with his Raw Chocolate and other produce from his stall. You can also learn something about Wild Foraging.
For children- look forward to options of face painting, a 'Bush Walk and Talk' as well as magical string games from Michael Taylor....and for everyone, last but not least, live music.
This is a FREE 'inspired community' day- offered to share the benefits of Raw Foods and the abundance that Plawhatch Farm offers from it's farm shop.
Plawhatch Farm is a co-operative bio-dynamic farm in Plawhatch Lane, Sharpthorne, West Sussex, RHL 4JL.
Parking space is limited, so please carshare wherever possible. The nearest station is East Grinstead. From there you can take either a bus to Forest Row (and walk quite a way!) or invest in a taxi.
