Soups! (or non-green vegetable smoothies :-) )

Anyone have any soup recipes? My old thread was resurfaced and got me thinking about soup again. To be honest, I hated sprouted lentils. It was good when I had it, but I'd much rather not re-do that soup idea again.
I also have been looking over recipes in Gabriel Cousens Conscious Eating book. It had me thinking up combinations I could make.
Fiddling around in the kitchen tonight, I made an awesome Indian-style blended soup.
It tastes amazing and it will be wonderful paired with a salad that includes cilantro and sea vegetables. :-)

Ingredients:
soaked almonds (w/ cinnamon, nutmeg, a pinch of salt and a date)
one carrot
Ginger/Mint water (sun tea from the other day)
Spices (Cumin, Cayenne, Curry Powder, Turmeric, Black Pepper)

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Have a wonderful day!!

Someone needs to come up with a raw version of oyster crackers.

These do all sound delicious. I'm such a newbie I've still been sticking strictly to recipes. I have had a few clunkers when I tried to come up with my own stuff so I just trust the 'experts' but you all look like you've got other stuff worked out. I'm taking notes!

p.s.
Natasha is right. One of my flops when I try to add more garlic than a recipe calls for. I like more garlic in cooked food but in raw, ouch, it's killer. There should be another thread about these kinds of cooked-to-raw pointers so people don't have to repeat these common mistakes.

Hi, we have soup every morning for breakfast and just find it to be the simplest and tastiest start to the day! We tend to alternate between variations of Fennel, Parsnip, Celery and Gazpacho...my favourite is Fennel: (serves 2)

1/2 bulb fennel
1/2 yellow pepper
1 tomato
small handful pine nuts
1pt water
celtic salt to taste

It's so simple to make soups the raw way isn't it! Just whizz in blender and serve - takes all of 2 minutes to make! I'm looking forward to trying out yours, probably for a sunday lunch with salad...yum

Soup for breakfast is such a wonderful way to start the day. Lately I've been making raw soups for myself and my son to start our mornings. Btw, my son is almost 18 and vegetarian and sometimes makes fun of my raw eating but he has taken instantly to raw soup for breakfast. Maybe we're onto something. :)

My favorite soup is as follows:

4 soaked sun-dried tomatoes
1 juicy fresh heirloom tomato
2 flowers basil ( I don't know what they are called...sprigs maybe?)
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon hemp seed pate (leftover pulp from making hemp milk with a little curry powder and a pinch of cayenne)
1 pinch celtic sea salt

I love it! :-)
