I have seen alot of ice cream recipes where you need to use a champion juicer. And also many recipes with nuts.
But what I'm looking for is a recipe for an ice cream maker, using a nut milk base or coconut base. I've done up 2 so far, and would love your suggestions for more recipes! Thanks in advance guys!
My partner makes one with mango, banana, coconut cream and agave. I don't have the amounts and he's not around to ask. He just blended the ingredients and put it in the icecream maker. The fat in the coconut cream (if you put enough in) means that it doesn't set hard, but stays a consistency that is easy to scoop. And sometimes he mixed chopped pecans in when he took it out of the icecream maker.
It's winter here in Australia but I'm looking forward to mango and icecream season again soon!
no problem. i've had and made all three. imo the raw food, real world version is the one that most emulates 'real' ice cream, the hemp one was surprisingly smooth and creamy and the banana one was almost more of a sorbet or frozen pudding.
The most delicious vanilla ice cream in the world: Blend 1 cup almond milk 3 cups young coconut meat with vanilla bean seeds and 1/4 cup agave nectar, chill overnight and process in an ice cream maker till smooth.
