Portland is a little ways, but when you do come to the city you should connect with one of the meetup groups if you can, it's a great way to get inspired. We have one at People's Co-op every 2nd Sunday. I really enjoy Hood River when I can get out there, love Mother's Grocery and the Banana Sundae!

Hi,

I love hood river and I don't get there enough. Like Julia said the pot luck is a great way to get inspired but what she did not mention is the great food. We can always count on Julia to bring something yummy! The group has people who come from as far as longview, WA.
