I'm back on 80/10/10 like I was in the beginning of my raw journey. I played around with the other side of the raw food world and my body didn't like it. This is truly the way to go.
As you probably know, I'm a climber. I go on climbing trips all the time and I am playing around with foods for energy.
My favorite foods for energy are all in mono-meals....
They include mono meals of bananas, dates, and figs....
I feel like I can perform the best when I eat these.
Sometimes though, I will make the banana/romaine burrito so it is no longer a mono-meal but it gives me the little extra green energy boost. I LOVE IT. (you know-- wrap a banana in a big romaine leaf and eat like a burrito)

Hi I'm brand new to 811. I just got the book last friday, and I'm still learning about energy foods. Thank you so much for posting. It looked like it was going to be easy to go totally raw with 811, but i'm still running into challenges.
