Since Im in Beijing & suspicious of all the food & drink, I am currently just using twice-boiled water with some zeolite in it. For them, I try mixing it in orange juice, as it's hard to get anything else really..
Tough place to find organics I bet. Is it possible to find frozen organic fruits. Strawberry, blueberry, peaces ect? I use banana and mango a lot as it thickens the liquid and sweetens. It seems like a thicker consistency helps it go down. Like orange juice with pulp. Serve it in a container that you can't see the color of the drink through helps as well. My kids are 10 and 13. They don't love it, but they don't complain a bunch after the first few weeks. I used a lot of Agave Nectar at first as well, so that they got the sweet tooth thing covered. After 6 weeks I had pared the Agave Nectar down to just using the fruit to sweeten the smoothies I make for the family. 32oz for each person. If your children are younger, less of course.
I've actually found, when trying to give people some kind of green powder when they couldn't care less, that Pure Synergy seems to be more palatable. I'm not sure if you want to use VMG for some specific reason, but if you just want a green superfood powder of any kind, then maybe give Pure Synergy a try.
Also if you are cooking for them, why not just add a pinch or two to their food, whatever it is. If you use just a little, like on top of their burger before the cheese, or in their lasagna or whatever, then they probably won't notice at all, and if you use it enough you know they will get the benefits.
And if you are dealing with kids:
When I was younger (about 10) my mom always tried to get me to take a spirulina powder drink in water, and I didn't like it at all. So she offered to give me 5 dollars a week for taking it every second day (monday, wednesday, and friday I think, weekends off haha) Well by the time I made 15 dollars from that (and you'll spend much more than that on kids in other ways anyway!) I totally liked the drink and wanted to have it everyday!
I actually just found an awesome recipe myself too --
Its a bit hard to find organics & I dont have a blender here in China,
but I did sprout a whole bunch of mung beans (love 'em! so nutritious!),
and so I put them in a bowl, with some cucumber & sesame - peanut sauce & cayenne pepper,
-- and then added the E3Live & they loved it!
: )
As for VMG, Im adding it in the orange juice, and they seem okay with that. : )
Make them Chocolate Bliss, with Vanilla Agave Nectar and Pure Synergy, which is in many ways is more powerful than Vitamineral Green and blends much more harmonious in raw chocolate drinks, to the point where you can get a good amount in and still have non-rawies really enjoy it. I have many times, and kids even love it!
Put in in a Avocado Salad Dressing, or my Spicy Avocado Soup (this has been copied in another raw book, that is ok, also in the same raw book my RAW Pancake recipe I found it was copied WORD FOR WORD!), also you can put it into any raw chocolate recipe: pie, smoothie, sauce. Or put it in a Pistachio Raw Organic Gelato/Ice Cream and RAWCK! :D

Its commendable that you want to nourish them, but do you need to use E3live and other green supplements? Maybe to them It tastes like crap for a reason? E3live contains a potential b12 analogue, which could cause a b12 deficiency. Analogues are like a key that looks like it fits the lock, and it will go in, but when you turn the key, it doesnt open. Not only does it not open, it snaps inside the lock so the real key cant get in and the fake key cant get out. Bad news.
For now, why not encourage them to try Fruit smoothies with you? Then slowly introduce them to Green smoothies. It would be a much better idea to introduce them slowly to the idea of whole food preferences rather than adding to their 'quick fix' mentality, that you can take something to counterbalance other bad habits. It will slowly but surely help to wean them off their sugar/salt addictions too. Maybe you could try introducing them to raw dips/crudites, or side salads with meals? Or filling up on fruit before the meal, rather than after?
