Where do you get your seeds and plants?

I am interested in growing organic wheatgrass. I had my first wheatgrass shot yesterday and though my stomach was a little funny for a few hours, I've been reading up on it and I feel like I could really benefit from it.

Also, that Aloe Vera Plant thread really rekindled my interest in the plants. I got mine from the flea market when I was in middle school, but they have long since died. (I lost interest for some reason.)

So... What is the best resource for getting not only Aloe and Wheatgrass, but in general? Is there a particular site that has the most trustworthy plants and seeds at reasonable prices?

Permalink Reply by Pink Lady Apple on July 9, 2008 at 10:51am: I use sproutpeople.com for my wheatgrass, sunflower seeds (for sprouting), pea green seeds (also for sprouting), rye (for Essene breads and rejuvelac), and I buy all of my jar sprouts from there such as alfalfa, clover, broccoli, etc. This site also has all of the directions on how to grow things. If you have any questions on sprouting you will definitely find the answers there, if not, just give me a holler :)

You can get good Winter/hard/red/durum wheat from Creative Health Institute in Michigan, Optimum Health Institute in San Diego, there are a lot of good places.
