Due to increasing symptoms ranging from sluggish thyroid to bloating to neck pain, and a recent strong metal taste in my mouth, I've decided to have my one filling removed and replaced. So far all of the local dentists that advertise "biological" dentistry in the area don't use rubber dams and won't, even on request. Does this seem odd to anyone? One said their concern is that some mercury dust can get trapped underneath it. Hmmmm.
My questions for the group is- what has been your personal experience with removal and replacement of an amalgam filling? What safety protocol did you ensure was used for the procedure? Did you feel immediate relief of any sort? Did any of you feel worse afterward? Would you do anything differently, and do you have any advice you feel is vital for someone considering this procedure?
it works for me like flower essences, in that it balances and brings things to the surface. it' always feels like delicate adjustment, for lack of a better descriptive. i use it selectively.
rawzi, here's a link.... http://www.desbio.com/database.html?id=DT0060&s=Metox ... this link is reheheallllly basic, not too informative, but does give you an ingredient list and indications - or which cases in which it could be helpful. it's a mild chelator, kind of like the chlorella. i had more than one of the indicators so here i am... : )
I just had my 3 removed this past month and my tight neck is much better, not perfect yet. I have not noticed any other results positive or negative.
My AWESOME dentist used a rubber dam, ozone, and oxygen and was dreamy. The best gentle dentistry Ive ever experienced and up to date with all techniques and materials. In Woodland Hills, Los Angeles Ca if anyone wants the contact.
hi mish- would you tell me more about your neck pain? what exactly did you have trouble with? this is one of my biggest issues... also do you know anything about cavitations?
Hi Tawny, I have had a really tight neck for most of my adult life. Sometimes it would be tough to turn my head all the way to the left, sometimes the right. The tightness felt like a "cable" (mucsle? tendon? nerve?) that would not ever stretch out enough that shot from the base of my skull down and to the inside corner of my shoulderblade; it would switch sides and be really bad on that particular side for 1-6 months. The base level of discomfort was always a 3-4, then when bad it would be a 8-9. Once it was a 10 and my whole arm and shoulder was in pain too.
Now my neck is getting looser.
I dont know what cavitations are.

thank you so much. i don't live near there, nor travel for things for myself normally, but if...how much time did it take for your dentist to get done all you needed?
