I was BIIIIG on coffee for the longest time, and just sort of weened myself off by substituting different green tea's. Took me about 3 months to get off coffee completely.
If you go cold turkey watch out for headaches, but I just heard that angstrom (calcium?) is great for those, and mega-hydration (spring water, mega hydrate spplemnt). How much coffee have you bee doing?
Hello! I weaned myself off coffee over a few weeks - for example, I went from a medium cup to a small cup (Dunkin Donuts) - after drinking only one small a day for about a week, I quit altogether. I did have headaches for about 4 days after that, but nothing since then.
I used to not be able to start my day without coffee - now I can't start my day without green smoothies! :)
I actually got the flu and couldn't get up off of the couch to make any coffee for about 3 days. I was really sick... and my coffee addiction was really bad - but I just associated the sickness and headaches with the flu since every other part of mey body hurt anyways. I had been tryin to wean myself off so when I got better I just didn't drink it again after that.
I hope that you can find a better way though!!
Now I drink cacao, maca shakes in the morning and feel great!
Iced coffee, raw almond milk and unheated honey ever? Or regular?

So many rawies do drink coffee. I wonder what the correlation is? I wonder if I'm one of the few that dislikes coffee. I won't rule out I'll ever use it as a one dose in years medicine, but otherwise I quite often actually dislike it. Maybe if it's cold and I can't smell it as much. Is it just very addictive? Or does it somehow combine well with much of raw foods? There must be more if we delved into it.
This might not be much help, but I just stop drinking it and avoided starbucks and the coffee machines at work. I had the worst headache though and didn't know that giving up coffee would do that to me, so maybe whining myself off gradually would have been better.
