So, I started teaching middle school in September and just got a letter from the DOE. I need to submit either a negative TB skin test OR a a chest x-ray, taken in the last 6 months.
Which is more harmful? While I know radiation is REALLY REALLY bad, the idea of injecting something into my body and then "waiting" for it to do something doesn't strike my fancy either. I don't think that I can claim religious exemption like I did for my university.
I'd be willing to just have blood drawn and tested that way, if possible...I'm just not sure on the details of how/if that works. Does anyone have any input or suggestions? I REALLY don't want any injections.
...or I could just quit my job and move to Costa Rica. :)
