Report from the July 2008 Codex Alimentarius Meeting

Learn about the United States' underhanded behavior of not allowing delegates from countries that disapprove of using beta agonists (a chemical to make pigs fatter) in pig farming. The two countries that are the largest growers of pig meat, both disapprove of using this chemical.

Codex Alimentarius is an international body related to the United Nations and the World Health organization to help set international food and safety standards.
