i can save up enough for plane tickets i know!!! i worry about the rest! i wont be staying with my cousins cuz they are in NYC and studying. so would be pressure on them i guess. anyways things will happen in due course. maybe next year or just the year next!!! :)

I just went to Europe for a month (where I got engaged to my beau :) ) moved to Maryland to work at John Hopkins- I'll be here for 4 years :) I haven't had the chance to get to know the raw crowd down here yet but there is a lovely big raw group down in the MD/DC area that I look forward to growing/learning/having fun with. Speaking of.. .any chance you are coming to RSF MD/DC???
the apricots are almost ripe in the tree in the backyard. They taste better still than what they sell in the store. My neighbor has two apricot trees and she is leaving town and offered me their bounty. If you swing through the Bay let me know and I will give you a basket.

The thing is, my small branches are some of them are like 1-2 inches in diameter. Do you think they'll compost? There were a couple dead baby arborvitae trees as well... and some forsythia bushes..... Anyway, in a few years, I'm sure they'll do something. I figured I might as well start, then I'll have more better compost eventually. I have some now, but more is always better, with compost. I'm going to pour massive amounts of EM on them too....LOL

Yes, I've read some Byron Katie stuff, but haven't heard of that one. Right now I'm into all sorts of books, but feel I should focus on one, that being Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life. Sometimes I get so scattered reading and listening to all sorts of things all at the same time.
i went a little insane today, with my newly aquired and figured out trailer (was my dads years ago), picking up people's brush, twigs, leaves, sod, and stuff to make a compost pile. Later I read in COleman's book that wood chips don't compost so well, so I"m a little wondering if these "branches" will compost, but I have time..............:)
