Before you know it - he'll be making YOU green juices and such ! LOL!! hey my Bo lost 30 pounds by going raw and he was a total meat man ! He still marvels that he eats all veggies and has so much energy! So YES! I'm in the city usually a couple of times a week .... so let's hang out !! tonight it's a surfing meeting! I was bit by the surfing bug in Mexico !! Its amazing - ever do it ? Its all about surrender for me - makes you realize you REALLY AIN"T IN CHARGE! You can;t think too much - (which I normally do) so when the wave comes you gotta go!! And hey - thanks to you - I have been smiling at myself in mirror and it so WORKS - even now I just got a big SMILE on my face! Just because !
So when are you in the city?
Yep, the beau actually ate tons of raw since the potluck- he LOVES the kale salad, apple pie (more like apple date rolls), date almond rolls, sorbet, fresh fruit with agave raisins and almonds... Today he ate 80% raw, 95% vegan and didn't even notice-- yes, I was feeding him. I am trying to be 95% raw, 100% vegan. It's not hard at all for me, except at my 10 year high school reunion Saturday night- ate celery and olives then attack the chocolate fountain with bananas and pineapple. That fountain was sooooo not raw, or vegan!!! But seriously, whoever invented the chocolate fountain had heaven in mind. Now who's gonna creat a raw chocolate fountain for us????? LOL!! Thanks for bringing your awesome energy to the party! You are electric- so kind, sincere, fun, and open. And such a great listener too. Lets hang out sometime soon- are you ever in the city?
Absolutely! I have always dreamed of flying...soaring through the clouds, dipping and diving, catching the next gust of air, spreading my wings and coasting like a hawk! Full locust is my favorite yoga posture and I always feel so happy...like one day my hips will lift up with the rest of my body! Have you ever gone gliding or sky-diving? I have not yet...wonder which I would like more.

Wow! You completely rock. I looked at your website. That is really inspiring. Sounds like you have created yourself a wonderful reality :-) Ugh, running that marathon was kind of hard for me. I tore up my hips a bit. I don't think I'll do another one-- but it was an amazing experience. I love Archie Comic books also. How many do you have? I am with you on the not shaving during the winter time!! I am playing at Cornelia Street Cafe on August 12th if you are in NYC and not busy!
hey woman! hope you had an awesome 4th with many fireworks displays ***** Are you able to come to my place on the 18th (friday)? many people are busy so i'll do another one soon after, and if the head count remains under 10 I may just propose we meet up in central park to spare the trip to the Bronx for such a small showing, but do tell- can you hang out that night for a little raw potluck?? take it easy crazy girl!! :):)
Just wanted to say hello! I am also living in NYC and trying to make some raw friends. Isn't it great in new york you can do things like wear wings and no one will even look at you funny (because there is always someone looking stranger than you)? I love that!
Hey Lada!! I'd love to meet up some time over raw food or juice. This is day 3 (I'll be saying yay at day 6 or 7!) and I'll be out in the city tonight (friend's bday dancing for a couple hours). I was thinking of checking out Bonobo beforehand for some juice- I'll message you and if you're around maybe we could meet up. No better time then the present!!!
