Yes, I am quite fortunate to live in Hawai'i Nei. The challenge is going easy and breezy. I would like to see other start their own challenges. Maybe they are with the raw food diet and everything, just not openly declaring it as much.

My journey has kind of just 'happened' to me. The knowledge, the people, the information, the books, the courses, the experiences, the miracles... all have 'just' come to me.

When you find "a deep experience" in one place (as happened to me) everything else just shapes into whatever you need in your search. Seek and you shall find.

I think over 1.5 years of Sabbatical & moving back to India (from the US..Houston, TX.. I've also lived in Dallas..:) & went to SMU for studies), I now, know way more than most academicians.

I can offload that boat load on you but it would overpower & confused .. Lol!. Keep in touch and I'll direct you slowly :D.

I'd say watch this movie for starters - Peaceful Warrior. Watch it a couple of times and pause, rewind & ponder over things / lines that catch you. Then talk to me :).

PS: On "meditation, color therapy, energy and positive vibrations, intuition, mind reading etc" Too wide & too many dots to connect.

Hey....well I'm from hyderabad but I'm studying in Punjab at the moment(LOL dont ask). I'm in my 2nd yr of law. I was 17 when I discovered raw food. I was watching an interview with Alicia Silverstone where she explained how she different she looked and felt on the raw food diet.I decided to go online and do more research and one thing lead to another ....I've never been completely raw before but I always had 3 glasses of green smoothie everyday and ate a whole lot of fruit. Then I joint college here and didnt have access to any healthy food (cooked or uncooked) and began eating REAL CRAP 3+ times a day...(maggie , soft drinks ,chips) eeww...I guess my system was so clean then that It couldn't metabolise all the junk and I felt seriously ill...I broke out into pimples and lost a whole lot of hair. Since eating regular healthy home cooked food the pimples have gone but I still dont feel a 100% like I used to . And I guess after eating junk food like this It's really diffcult to go back to eating normally .(My roommmates cannot stomach a fresh healthy meal to this day).Anyway ....Now I want to go back to feeling like I used to so I'm jumping head first into a 30 day raw food trial

Hey Nimisha,
I find that whenever I take a high amount of greens and keep the fat low and fruit almost nil, my emotions and my mental clarity improve. Depression is a non issue, I naturally feel happy all the time. Negative events glide off of me like water of a duck's back. I don't hold on to them.
My mind is clear. I "see" through things easily. No fogginess. I know what is important to me and I go do it. If I increase the fruit then I feel more hyper and anxious; less grounded. Too much Fat (nuts) just weigh me down. Its worse than cooked food.

Hi Nimisha
My grandson is doing ok but he is very prone to tummy aches and colds. I really wish my daughter could feed him more raw foods. I am convinced that it will help, but she has difficulty in doing that( husband and family in law)

YEAH RIGHT. There is only one vegetarian restaurant here so raw might be going too far. No I haven't been to any but I saw a link for one in Denton. I know that's somewhere up there.

Nimisha,

Good to hear from you. It is a definite plus to be living in CA, especially in the Bay Area, where there are numerous raw food restaurants and lots of resources in the area from meetups to potlucks to grocery stores.

I have been raw for a couple years, but I am not 100%. I vary between 75%-100% depending on where I am. 100% if at home, but around 75% if on the road.

How's Dallas treating you?
