Interesting info! thank you. I love the energy there. Which island are you on? How much to rent a small house? Hmm... you are making me think about things. In a good way. Oh to be able to swim everyday. That would be amazing.

Happy new year and nice meeting you! It must be wonderful to be a raw foodie in Hawaii! We've talked so often about moving there. But it seems slightly pricy? Fact or fiction?

Hi Amy,

Thanks for getting back to me. I will be coming on a shoe string budget so wherever I can find work relatively quickly. I have been to the Big Island and like both the Hilo and Kona areas. I may be limited to going to Oahu because there is where the work is. I am both a bookkeeper and a massage therapist. I know that there is bookkeeping work for me in the Honolulu area. I am doing research now to see if I want to make the move. if it seems positive the soonest would be October 2009. It would be a major step so I want to be sure.

Going raw opens up so many other areas of your life. I find myself wanting to sell, give away, throw away so many of my belongings and live simpler. And i think I want to try to be around a raw community.

If you could be a penpal and answer questions for me, etc over the next few month it would be appreciated. Maybe if you know of anyone on Oahu who could be a contact for me?

Namaste,

Martyn

woah thats so cool that you're from Erie. I go to McDowell High and take some classes at Mercyhurst College. I think I'm going to move away to a warmer climate though. I'd much rather be in Hawaii than freezing my butt off here.

Thanks for sharing your methods of opening these delicious, nutritious wonders. :-) This was an abnormally large organic pomegranate, but organic it was.

Well we are not early man. Sitting on the computer typeing isn't natural. Not sure what being natural has to do with working out. Jumping rope at a moderate pace seems okay for someone out of shape or for a warm up. If you want it to be an effect...

I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :) There are different varietie...
