Hey, Sarma ... thought you'd like to know that the woman who rowed solo (yes, rowed alone!) across the Atlantic Ocean is coming to dinner tonite at PF&W. She just completed her second leg of an attempt to be the first woman to row solo across the Pacific (from Hawaii to Tarawa two weeks ago; the first leg was from San Francisco to Hawaii). Anyway, she mentions having dinner at Pure Food & Wine in her blog, as I told her she HAD to check it out whilst she's in NYC! The mallomars are my favorite too! They're positively mindblowing-- I give them to friends who are sure raw food is yucky or tasteless. Works every time! Thanks for making such wonderful food. I went to Pure Food and Wine for my birthday this year and I'm going to make it a tradition!
Your raw oreo ice cream is better than any regular ice cream I have ever had. I use to eat ice cream by the gallons. It is amazing. Your mallomars are a religious experience.

1/2 cup red pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
