It's a small - but, clearly, growing - world, this raw food world: I met Rachan at a raw-food dinner party the other night. What great people. Very genuine, and very passionate - a great combo! I've joined the list, and can't wait for the picnics to start rolling around!
I'm not so sure I'd be as enthusiastic for a low-fat diet, though - late last year I lost 18kg in about 8 weeks, have now leveled off, and am just now trying to bulk back on! There's logic behind the low-fat diet, I know, but I'm still waiting on my 80/10/10 book to read it in detail. I also have some concerns regarding sugars, which have not yet been properly allayed. Hopefully, becoming part of this community will enlighten(!) me in that regard.
Wow, two picnics the one weekend...three if you count my own! Raw fooding seems quite the social scene! Whodathunkit?! It'll make for a nice change from work, work, work, to be sure. I look forward to taking advantage of it, and catching up with you at the picnics, Marianna.
Cheers

Hey Mariana!
had a nice week thanks. How has yours been? Much planned for the weekend? Rockingham hey....ok, so that's a bit of a trek... :) Yes, it is hard to switch off one's mind, though I wouldn't worry about it too much -when you notice yourself doing so - just pop the racetrack to the side and come back to it later... :) have had a few experiences with meditation... also when I've been asleep (astral travelling) and when speaking to entities from elsewhere through channels... was a time I was doing automatic writing... Are you interested in anything in particular? be happy to discuss sometime w you~

hey that's great - look forward to catching up. I'll be staying near Perth - Mt Lawley when I'm over - how about you? Yes, been meditating for ages - since early teens, the kind where you centre, be still, expand your awareness to all that is etc - nice experience. I haven't done much yoga, just now and then - what sort do you mean by the more meditative kind? it sounds nice. Yes, lots of interests - enjoy being outdoors, especially amongst trees and by the ocean. Also am keen on the more 'spiritual' side of life - enjoy going to a channel and having a chat to an ascended master or beings from elsewhere; keen on understanding more about this experience and what it all means in the greater scheme of things and especially like looking after my body as well as I can. Have a nice weekend~ A
Hey there Marianna, thanks for the welcome :). Oops sorry - thought the wisdom teeth was coming up, must have been an old post and I didn't realise. Ah yes, holistic dentists, s hard to find. I found one in Sydney but havent looked here. I had a bit of work done pre my raw days so I feel happy bout that. Not sure what I would do if faced with surgery now. Tough one! I wish you the best with whatever you choose anyway!
I am in Sorrento, suburbs in north Perth basically, out near the beach. Loving being back.
No me neither re Perth JFeasters, but thanks for your offer of encouragement! Very kind of you!
Hi Marianna. Thought I'd say hi as I'm in Perth too. Hope the wisdom teeth removal goes well, and the move! I'm juicing too from tomorrow. Where in Perth are you? I have recently moved back after living in London and then Sydney so haven't yet been to any of the raw food picnics in Perth. Looking forward to it though! My colonic lady told me she has met some people recently who have jucie feasted over here...don't suppose you know any? I am keen to do it 7 days. My longest fast was 4 days and want to step it up a notch and support is soooo helpful :). Casey
hey cool - will be back mid december for a few weeks, if you're around then? Can't wait to get to the beach and catch some sunsets....one of the things I miss being over east. Saw you like yoga - have you been doing it for long? Enjoy your day too,
A
I did a raw food preparation class here in Melb last year - good for inspiration so I hope you enjoy the one you do. And yes, I'm sure you'll meet some interesting pple there :) I know Therese is in Perth, though that's about it...Be nice to catch up and hear of your experiences if you're around mid Dec. Enjoy~
Perrrth!! -just another boy from the west coast checking in :-) how are you going? I'm over in Melbourne at the moment - though back home in Dec. Just got into raw foods etc - have you found many pple in Perth interested in such? Be Well, Alex

Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.
Pink Lady Apple,
I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
I stop getting them after I did an extended water...
I really believe that is possible to heal all of the body...regeneration of tissue is not a far fetched concept. There is a case of a man who re-grew a finger, recently! I have to dig to find the article, but I read it on naturalnews.com. Mind you...
i can understand american accent, i have been working with them for quite a while
my ear is not tuned to ause accent yet, i guess you are my first ause friend to talk with :)
but i am gonna catch up soon
