I love the fact you landscape garden...the smell of flowers in the summer is priceless...
I've been 811 raw since the beginning of the year and am dedicated to the cause. I'm a type of person who is clean-cut when it comes to a journey as it were. raw veganism is a lifestyle but also a protest and also a seeking of enlightenment (especially as I'm very strict and am practically always on a detox.) I don't drink or do drugs, but run among other things and seek the well things in life. I'm at college at the moment, yet thoroughly want to escape nest summer from this country and passive mainstream. Idealistically I would live in a pastoral iddyl of an environment where I spoke, ate, and breathed divine simplicity...working with the elements as such.
You ask about need for certain un-raw foods for their nutrient content..? well raw food has all what one needs to flourish, but in regards of what you're specifically getting at, I would say these certain foods hold moments in our memories rather than the taste we enjoyed. We can relate foods to times in our life where we experienced happiness or comfort. Further, when it comes to cravings...I don't really have any because what I do is part of me, and my persistence in loving creation and developing a love for myself exceeds any kind of small, meaningless whisper of memory. I've had enough of crap in my life, Joshua so I look to higher things...not down to the darkness which does creep up.

My friends used to make fun of me for eating organic raw food while smoking organic cigarettes... But they really were strong, and without duplicitous chemicals you can't smoke too many of them.
A good herbal blend though... smells reeally good..

PLA- have you had your ferritin (iron-storing protein) levels checked? You can have normal iron but low ferritin, and thus still have anemia symptoms. Or you can have leaky bool vessels due to spleen qi deficiency. Look at your tongue 1st thing in...
Thats interesting but would the body react differently to fruit sugars as opposed to all the other sugars? I didn't have these spots when I spent most of my time partying and living on junkfood.....
